The tournament will take place in Sun City at the Iconic Gary Player Country Club. It is designed to showcase the top rising stars in South African golf offering elite juniors a professional-level experience including an official Pro-Am.

As a Humewood golfer, Van der Watt used his familiarity with the course to his advantage. He knew where to place his shots, how to manage the wind, and when to attack.
His crucial birdie streak from the 15th to the 17th hole was the defining moment of his victory.
