Calvin here and I am responsible for Digital Marketing at CTC Sports. 

Ok, so let’s face it; there will always be things we fear in life…the unknown being a big fear for us all.

Change is necessary in every aspect of life.

Throughout our lives we will have moments in which we must make some change in our routine i.e. expanding a business, letting go of an addiction, leaving our partner, changing the city, dare to take a new job, and so on.

Fear however can make us not dare to take that “next” step and we stay anchored in our comfort zone.

Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, is quoted as saying “change is the only constant in life.”

When we stay inside of our manufactured little boxes it’s easy to get comfortable and miss opportunities to evolve and flourish.

Rejection can often mean redirection and Reg learned this early on his journey to building his business.

Since the inception of CTC Sports in April 1997 – there has been many changes.

From new clients, new products, new workspaces to impressive new technologies.

There will be some amazing days and some horrible ones, but it is all part of the adventure which is life.

Reaching success means facing discomfort in the name of growth…and it’s not even guaranteed to work.

Tell your fear, “Thanks for trying to protect me, but I’m going to do it anyway.”

And then just do it, again and again. I’m not saying you should become reckless either.

There is a big difference between blindly leaping into the unknown, and taking a calculated risk. Do the latter…

CTC has taken many leaps of faith on our road to success; through these transitions, we have maintained two constants

– At CTC we know that you need to be a cut above the rest in order to maintain a positive reputation.

People trust you when they know you have competent staff are an expert in your field.  

The quality of our products cheekily speaks for themselves.  

Find YOUR strength, harness it and be willing to fail forward. So feel excited as you negotiate the flow of the ever-changing proverbial river, I call Life.

Strive to be the anchor that you trust to safely maintain your focus and growth as you elevate in this world.
