Michael Hollick Shines in DNi Tour Championship Victory
The Sunshine Tour season concluded on a high note as Michael Hollick claimed victory in the DNi Tour Championship presented by RMB at Blair Atholl Golf and Equestrian Estate. Hollick, who also started the season with a win in the FBC Zimbabwe Open, closed with an impressive final round of 64, securing his title with a score of 19 under par, one stroke ahead of Jacques Kruyswijk and George Coetzee. Reflecting on his triumph, Hollick expressed his gratitude for a remarkable season. “After playing part-time over the last two years and focusing on coaching, I’ve played well over the past few months. Sometimes, you just need to believe in yourself, and I think that’s what made the difference.”
A Season of Achievements and New Milestones
While Hollick celebrated his victory, Daniel van Tonder was crowned the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit champion, securing a place in prestigious international tournaments, including The Open and the US PGA Championship. Van Tonder also earned a R500,000 bonus, a Hyundai Palisade for a year, and a luxury seven-night international cruise.
